Understanding the Dinora rate

Dinora doesn't set an exchange rate — it picks the mid-market rate from a public reference at the moment your match is found.

Most remittance services charge an FX spread (the difference between the rate they show you and the wholesale rate). Dinora doesn't, because we don't actually do FX — we match local-currency-to-local-currency.

How the rate is picked

When your match is found, Dinora pulls the mid-market rate (the rate banks use among themselves) from a public reference (currently the European Central Bank reference rate at 14:15 UTC for fiat, and the cash-buy mid for harder-to-reach corridors). That rate is locked into the match for both sides.

What you actually pay

You pay your local amount. You get exactly the local amount on the other side, computed at the locked mid-market rate. There's no spread, no commission, no "transfer fee" — your money loses nothing in transit.
