What happens if my match is late
We give your counterpart 15 minutes from the agreed meeting time. After that, the meeting auto-cancels.
Showing up on time at the agreed meeting place is part of every Dinora handoff. Lateness without notice flags the account.
The 15-minute rule
Once you both confirm the meeting time, we start a soft countdown. If your match hasn't checked in within 15 minutes of that time and hasn't messaged, the app marks them late.
Your options when the late flag triggers
- Wait — tap Extend if you want to give them another 15 minutes.
- Cancel the meeting and re-match before any handoff is marked complete.
- Open a dispute if you've already paid out-of-pocket for travel.
Late matches are scored. After three lateness flags in 90 days, an account is reviewed and may be suspended.
