Re-matching after a failed handoff

Re-matching keeps your proof trail attached and finds a fresh counterparty without restarting from scratch.

Updated 3 months agoReviewed by Dinora support

When a meeting fails — late, suspicious, or just bad chemistry — you can re-match instead of cancelling. Your local funds stay on your local rail, and Dinora pulls a new counterpart from the live offer book.

When re-matching is automatic

  • Counterpart silent for 30+ minutes during the handoff.
  • Counterpart no-show 15+ minutes past the agreed time.
  • Counterpart fails the in-person QR check.
  • Either side reports the match (the other side gets re-matched).

Manual re-match

Open the transaction, tap Re-match, pick a reason (optional), and confirm. Dinora pulls the next-best matching offer from the same corridor when one is available.
